The Hex-Lock®Short Abutment System is an all inclusive system including titanium abutments and associated restorative components designed to simplify the entire posterior restoration process by being effective and easy to use. Shorter abutment cone heights (4mm) and predetermined margins provide off-the-shelf convenience which can significantly reduce chair and prep times. The Short Restorative System provides components for easy abutment level impressions and the easy preparation of provisional and final restorations. The Hex-Lock Short Abutment System includes the following:
- Shorter titanium abutments designed for limited interocclusal space and reduced visibility in the posterior. Abutments available for all implant platforms and include 1mm and 2mm cuff heights options.
- Snap-on impression caps allow for simple abutment-level impressions. Impression Cap color-coding matches Short Abutment Analogs and corresponds to emergence profiles of the abutments.
- Short Provisional Copings aid with the fabrication of provisional crowns and are temporary cemented to the abutment during the healing of the soft tissue.
- Short Abutment Analogs and Short Waxing Copings are used at the laboratory to assist the final crown fabrication.
- Easy to order, all inclusive Short Restorative Kits also available which include the Short Impression cap, Short Provisional Coping, Short Waxing Coping and Short Abutment Analog.
- Short Healing Caps are available for long-term tissue healing.
